Fulani Habib is a women owned, one-of-a-kind, luxury African boutique that offers a safe space for modest women to share and enjoy henna, hijabs, modest clothing, African fabric, accessories, and workshops for women and girls that elevate the mind, body, and spirit.  We also offer gently used luxury fashion as part of our Thrift collection.  Fulani Habib is inspired by diverse west and east African Fulani Muslim women.  Countries represented include Nigeria, Ethiopia, Somalia, Senegal, Mali, Sudan, Niger, Guinea, Eritrea, and Kenya. Fulani Habib is a space for the modest woman, the fashionista, the creative, the entertainer, the executive, the mother, the sister, the daughter, and the friend. 

Fulani Habib offers custom tailor made and traditional African skirts, kaftans, and dresses for women with a 5 day turnaround! You can select any of our African fabrics and create a custom African skirt, kaftan, or dress for under $200!

We are a cashless facility, located at 10104 Bustleton Avenue in Philadelphia, PA. We are open Thursday-Friday 12-6 pm and on Saturday's 10 am - 6 pm. All products are available for purchase both in person and online.

Our mission is aligned with the Fulani moral code known as Pulaaku. The Fulani moral code believes that the Fulani woman is always in control of her emotions and impulses.  These principles are:

Sagata (courage)

The Fulani people are located predominately in western African countries like, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Mali, Guinea, Central African Republic, Sudan, Senegal, Cameroon and Central African Republic.  The top five Fulani dialects used by the Fulu people are Sokoto, Futa Jallon, Masina, Adamawa, and Toro.
99% of Fulani women are Muslim and their style varies depending on their country. The Fulani women exemplifies both proud Fulani culture and diversity in Muslim women fashion. Overall, the Fulani women's fashion is joyful, and bright and includes colorful, eye-catching, modest, embroidered or embellished thobes and hijabs.
